Rates and Payment
My rates change from time to time, so I don't publish them here. You may call or email me for information about my current fees. All fees are due in full at the start of each session. Acceptable forms of payment are personal check or credit card.
Sliding Scale
I reserve a few spots in my practice for people who cannot afford my regular fee. If my regular fee is a hardship, please call me to discuss.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider, and do not accept insurance at this time. Depending on your insurance plan, you may be reimbursed for part or all of my services. I can provide a monthly statement that you may submit to your insurance company for "out of network" benefits. It is worth contacting your insurance plan to see if they will reimburse you some percentage of your cost.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
In order to maximize treatment effectiveness, it is expected that you attend therapy on a weekly basis. I set aside and hold your weekly time, and also limit the number of patients I see so that I may better address your needs. Given challenges with filling your session time on short notice, I enforce a 48-hour cancellation policy. I will charge for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, unless we are able to reschedule for a later time that same week. Please note that insurance will not reimburse for missed appointments.for "out of network" benefits.
Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
